• Decent South Carolina Platform: The Kaplan South Carolina pre-licensing course has a decent learning platform. It’s easy to use and navigate and will track your progress. It’s not nearly as good as AceableAgent’s platform but overall, it’s decent.
• Full South Carolina Curriculum: The Kaplan South Carolina course provides the complete 90 hours of curriculum which is the requirement as specified by the South Carolina Real Estate Commission.
• Great South Carolina Exam Prep: If there is any strength to this online real estate school, it’s that they do provide good South Carolina exam prep. They have been known to have some of the better exam prep in the industry so it’s nice to be able to access that since there are so few other features.
• South Carolina Study Groups: Another unique feature offered by this South Carolina real estate school is the live interactive study groups. In these groups you can interact with South Carolina instructors as well as other students.

Cons:

• South Carolina Course Higher Priced: Consistently, Kaplan is on the higher end of pricing no matter what the state. Their South Carolina pre-licensing course is no exception. The price at the time of this writing is $549 which is in the higher range for South Carolina schools.
• Not As Interactive: As stated above, Kaplan does have a decent learning platform but it’s not nearly as good as the interactive platform offered by Aceable. You can see them at the top of this guide.
• One South Carolina Course Option: There are times when having only one option is good but not so with Kaplan. Since their course is priced higher it would be nice to see a few other lower priced packages.

5. Hondros South Carolina

Next on the list of best South Carolina online real estate schools is Hondros. Overall, Hondros has some good points which I cover below. While not a school I would choose, I feel I need to add them because they do have a pretty good platform.

• Excellent South Carolina Exam Prep: The main strength of this South Carolina real estate school is that they use CompuCram for their exam prep which is one of the better exam prep options on the market.

Cons:

• South Carolina Course Priced High: The Hondros South Carolina course is priced way too high compared to other South Carolina real estate schools. At the time of this writing the price is $649 to $709. The real problem is that you get far less for your money than you get with my top picks listed above.

6. Fortune Academy

This next South Carolina real estate school offers both self-paced and instructor led online courses. I only added them to this list because I think they do have some good options but I would not choose them over any of my top picks.

Pros:

• Complete South Carolina Curriculum: The South Carolina pre-licensing course provided by Fortune Academy has the complete 90 hours of content as specified by the South Carolina Real Estate Commission.
• Self-Paced Online: This South Carolina real estate school has a course that is online and is self-paced so you can have the convenience of taking it whenever and wherever you wish.
• Three South Carolina Packages: You have the option of three South Carolina pre-license package choices giving you a level of control over your course contents.

Cons:

• Higher Priced South Carolina School: Unfortunately, Fortune Academy’s pricing for their online course is higher than most. Ranging from $649 to $769, they are out of the range of other better South Carolina schools.
• Little Info About School: The Fortune Academy website has very little information on the school’s history. They do show some of the staff but the website has spelling errors and not much detailed information about the school.
• No Guarantee: Fortune Academy does not offer any type of course or passing guarantee.

This school offers South Carolina real estate license training in a self-paced environment as most online real estate schools do. They are part of a larger educational company called PDH Academy.

Pros:

• Decent South Carolina Exam Prep: The exam prep that comes with the PDH Real Estate course is good. It has a simulated final exam, 15 practice quizzes and over 800 practice questions.
• Good South Carolina Instructors: The instructors that teach the courses at PDH Real Estate have extensive experience in the real estate industry.
• Good Feedback From Students: Student feedback on this school is very good with over 139 reviews and a 4.6 out of 5 star rating on TrustPilot at the time of this writing.

Cons:

• No Full Course Guarantee: This online South Carolina real estate school does mention a passing guarantee but it’s unclear how this works.
