As I said above, Aceable beats them slightly for New York. However, this is a great New York real estate school and you can’t go wrong using them. The CE Shop has a great platform for their New York pre-licensing course but it’s not quite as interactive as the course offered by AceableAgent shown above.

Fourth Best Online Real Estate Schools In New York
I only added 360Training to this list because they simply have great prices for their New York pre-licensing real estate course. This is not my favorite online New York real estate school but they need to be mentioned because of their pricing. Read my full 360Training review to see more about this school.
Pros:
New York Course Has Great Pricing
360Training has the best pricing of any of the online real estate schools in New York. With a price range of $139 to $199, they offer a very budget based course. I would only choose this school if pricing is your only consideration but if you can spend just a bit more, I would go with any of the New York real estate schools shown above.
Full New York Based Curriculum
Even though this is a budget course, you do get the full 75 hours of required course material as approved by New York Department of State.
Included New York Exam Prep
If you choose the higher priced course option, you will get access to many practice exams that will help test your knowledge of the course material. Download study guides that will focus on the information.
Two New York Based Packages
You will have two package options to choose from for the New York real estate course. This is nice if you are ok with a few less features and wish to go with their very budget based course.
Cons:
New York LMS Not As Good
LMS or Learning Management System is the platform you use to access the course contents. 360Training’s platform that delivers the New York real estate course is just not as good as others.
Limited Interaction
When you access this course you will download a pdf of the content, read it, and then take some quizzes. There is very little interactive content.
No New York Exam Passing Guarantee
If you’re like me and want a passing guarantee, then this New York real estate school will not be great for you. They do not offer any type of passing guarantee as you see with AceableAgent and Real Estate Express. However, they’re pricing is good so this may not be an issue.
5. Kaplan New York
Fifth Best Online Real Estate Schools In New York
Kaplan is on this list because they are such a well known online real estate school and have been around for so long. They’re good at some things, but overall, they are just not my favorite choice. You can read more in my walk-through of Kaplan real estate.

Long Track Record For New York
Kaplan has a very long track record of helping people learn what they need to know about becoming a real estate agent in New York. Their New York pre-licensing course and the school has been around for many years.
Self-Paced Content
The Kaplan New York real estate school has online material that can be accessed 24 hours a day 7 days a week leaving you free to study on your own time.
Good New York Exam Prep
If you choose their two more expensive New York course options you will get access to very good exam prep that will help you prepare for the New York licensing exam. This includes an online question bank which allows you to simulate many different testing environments.
Popular New York Textbook
The Kaplan New York real estate school uses a popular textbook called “Modern Real Estate Practice in New York” which can add onto what you learn in the online course.
Study Groups
These online live webinars will put you in touch with New York instructors as well as other students in an environment where you can engage and discuss topics as well as get answers to your questions.
Four New York Course Options
If you want options, Kaplan offers four decent New York pre-licensing course packages. Their least expensive option though only has the 75 hours of course material and no other features.
Decent New York Platform
Overall, I think the Kaplan platform is good and delivers the course material well. While not nearly as good as the AceableAgent platform, it still gets the job done.
Cons:
New York Course High Priced
This is always my issue with Kaplan. Their pre-licensing courses are almost always too high priced. The same applies here. The cost of the Kaplan New York pre-licensing course ranges from their bare-bones course at $379 to $909 for their best package. This is so far higher than other online real estate schools in New York that it’s not even in the same ballpark.
6. Mbition New York
Mbition is next on my list of best online real estate schools in New York only because they do have a good learning platform for their New York pre-licensing course. I need to mention them because there are so few good online real estate schools on the market. Overall though, they are just not my top pick and you can learn more about them in my Mbition review.

This math tool will provide you with hands-on math problems so you can learn the use, purpose and formula associated with real estate math.

No Full New York Exam Pass Guarantee
Unfortunately, the Mbition New York real estate school does not provide any type of full exam pass guarantee. They do offer a guarantee that will reimburse for the cost of your second New York exam fee if you need to retake it but not a reimbursement for the course.
Difficult Signup Process
I do not like the signup process of Mbition. This does not have to be a negative and may not be to many but for me, their process is a bit harder than it needs to be and it would make sense if they would change this.
7. Hondros New York
Last on my list of best New York based real estate schools online is Hondros. This New York real estate school is well known in the exam prep industry with their CompCram exam prep. While this is good and they have some positive points, overall, Hondros just does not provide what other real estate schools can. They need to be mentioned though because compared to the many other New York real estate schools on the market, they are better than most.

Good New York Exam Prep
A strong point of the Hondros New York pre-licensing course is their exam prep. They use CompCram for exam prep which is one of the best in the industry for New York exam prep.
75 Hours Of New York Curriculum
The Hondros New York real estate school does provide the full 75 hours of approved curriculum needed to get a real estate license in New York.
New York Course 100% Online
As with all of the online real estate schools in New York shown here, the Hondros course is all online. This allows you to work at your own pace and on your own custom schedule.
Good Support
Hondros has good support when you need it. You can contact them by phone, email or chat.
Cons:
New York Course High Priced
The New York pre-licensing course offered by Hondros has two course packages and both are way too high. They range in price from $425 to $514. I just cannot see paying this much more when there are as good or better options for less as shown above.
